-What should I do before a consultation?
You can prepare as much or as little as you need to prior to a consultation.
If possible, take photos or measurements of the space, obtain floor plans and Collect any inspiration images. It is also useful to write down questions that you would like answers to. It is not necessary, but providing as much information as possible will ensure a productive discussion and allow us to provide the right advice for your home.
-What do I get during my consultation?
During your consultation, we will discuss your design, and propose the best layout and/or products. We are also able to get samples of finishes sent over for testing in your space.
-How does a consultation take place?
Consultations take place over Zoom video calls. Before the call, you will receive a meeting link via email to join the call, where you will be met by your architect. From there, you will be able to show your space via screen-share or video, ask questions and get feedback and advice. Consultats are collaborative and tailored to your needs and requirements.
-What if I have no floor plans or measurements?
If you have no floor plans, you may show your space in real time using the camera on your device. Most clients find it easier to take photos of the space which can be uploaded and shared during the discussion. You can also use the screen share option on Zoom to share additional images.
-How much can be accomplished during a consultation?
By the end of your consultation, you will get answers to your questions, and come away from it with a clear design and/or layout, confident with next steps to take, and full of new ideas. Yelena has had 11 years experience designing homes and interiors for various clients, so you will feel confident with the advice you get.
